A vessel contains a pressurised aerosol. A bent bar contains a passage connecting the vessel interior to the spray aperture, when depressed by a cap. Adjustable stops determine the amount for which the bar can be depressed and thus the rate of the aerosol outflow. The stops comprise a ring (22) screwing into a vessel seat (12) so as to vary the intervening distance. Pref. two outlet ports (35, 36) are provided in the bar (33), spaced in the axial direction. One port nearest to the top end is of the same or larger dia. than the other one.
