The invention relates to a load-transporting assembly. An assembly for handling goods containers is installed on the lifting rocker 23 of a mobile vehicle 10 for transporting and stacking goods containers 22. A bridge element 116 fixed to this lifting rocker receives two supports 128 which move vertically. Struts 142, bearing against the supports 128, comprise, at their upper and lower ends, pivots by means of which a transporting assembly 21 is supported in a mobile manner and is designed so as to lock onto a goods container 22.
