The device according to the invention makes it possible to temporarily lock a revolving part 1 in a bore 2. It comprises an annular housing 12 into which control fluid may be introduced. In this housing a sleeve 4 makes it possible to radially move a metal bush 3 which ensures locking. Sealing of the housing is ensured by O-rings 5, 9 which interact with rings 6, 10 which accompany the sleeve in its radial movement. A rigid plastic is preferably used to produce the sleeve. <IMAGE>
