The invention relates to a single-lever mixer block in which the quantity and temperature of mixed water are controlled with the aid of a pair of discs via a lever mounted to pivot vertically in a horizontally pivotable lever bearing. To damp noise, an insert (4) made of sintered metal is used. The insert (4) is arranged in a mixing chamber (34) which is formed by the base of a transmission part (3) and an opening (28) in the control disc (26) of the pair (2) of discs.
