PURPOSE:To make a mutiple date display by providing a date plate for a date display of the solar calendar and the 2nd date plate on which numbers 1-30 as dates of the old calendar are printed alternately at the circumferece together with charactes indicating the magnitude of a tidal current corresponding to dates of the old calendar. CONSTITUTION:The speed reduction ratio from an hour wheel 11 to a date indicator driving wheel is reduced to half and the date indicator driving wheel 10 makes one turn a day. Numbers 8a of the 2nd date wheel 10 are printed alternately, so the size of the star wheel 8c of the 2nd date plate 8 is set so that it rotated by an angle 2/31 a day by the 2nd plate advancing claw 10b of the date indicator driving wheel 10 and the 2nd adjusting lever 9; and the tip of the advancing claw 10b presses a tooth part 8d of the star wheel 8c of the 2nd date plate 8, which is rotated counter-clockwise as shown by an arrow B, so that the star wheel 8c moves by two teeth. Simultaneously, the date plate 7 moves by one teeth by pressing the tip of the date plate advancing claw 10a against the tooth part 7a of the date plate 7. Thus, the multiple date display of the solar calendar and old calendar is made through the simple mechanism. Characters inducating the magnitude of a tidal current are printed corresponding to dates of the old calendar to make a tidal current display. |
