What is described is an agitator device for liquid-manure containers, in which the agitator is connected to a motor which can be driven by the engine of a vehicle via a power take-off shaft. The drive consists of a hydraulic drive with a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor, the hydraulic pump drivable by the power take-off shaft to the vehicle engine being fastened releasably to the vehicle, and the hydraulic motor movable relative to this carrying the agitator and being couplable to the hydraulic pump by means of hose lines.
