Steel railway-sleeper and track support element made of such sleepers

The invention relates to a new steel railway-sleeper which as a result of its design - it consists essentially of two double-T supports welded together in parallel - can be used both as a transverse and as a longitudinal sleeper. The new sleepers are filled in their cavity with a damping medium for damping sound and vibration. For efficient prefabrication, such steel railway-sleepers can be joined together to form track support elements which can be prefabricated efficiently and which can serve as track substructure by corresponding selection of the dimension in the longitudinal direction and transverse direction relative to the rail track.
