An inflatable neck support with a waist in the centre between two protuberances is also suitable for laterally supporting the head against the shoulders if the protuberances are widened on one side towards a single main plane perpendicular to the cross-sectional surface of the waist. The two widened portions are intended to engage around the neck from behind during use, in the manner of side pieces.
