Washing system for motor vehicle windows

A system is proposed which serves to wash the windows of motor vehicles. The window washing system comprises a feed pump which is constructed as a centrifugal pump and whose cylindrical pump chamber has two outlets opening into feed lines. Only one of the two feed lines connected to spray nozzles is ever supplied with washing fluid by the two feed lines as a function of the direction of rotation of the pump rotor and a correspondingly controlled disabling device. In order to improve the efficiency of the feed pump, at least one disabling element is arranged as a disabling device between each pump outlet and the spray nozzle connected by a line thereto and the two outlets of the pump chamber open at least approximately tangentially into the said elements. <IMAGE>
