PURPOSE:To simplify the selecting operation of transfer destination banks to improve the customer service by inputting displayed Hiragana (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) in accordance with the order of the character string of bank's name to display following characters of the character string of bank's name successively. CONSTITUTION:In case that the transfer destination band is selected, data on a magnetic stripe of an inserted card is read, and the first character of a bank's name character string of a bank 1 stored in an area M1 of a table A in a memory is read out. A flag corresponding to this character in a table B is set to ''1'', and the first characters of bank's name character strings of all banks 2-(m) in the table A are read out, and flags corresponding to these characters in the table B are set to ''1''. Next, the start character of the transfer destination bank is inputted, and the table A is retrieved, and retrieval is performed for the second character. That is, Hiragana displayed on a display part is inputted in accordance with the order of the bank's name character string to display following characters of the character string of bank's name on the display part successively. Thus, selection of the transfer destination bank is made easy to improve the customer service. |
