PURPOSE:To prevent generation of offensive noise of cooling fan by controlling a motor by computing voltage to be applied to the cooling fan driving motor at least during engine operation based on detecting signals of atmospheric temperature, water temperature, vehicle speed and fuel amount. CONSTITUTION:During operation of an engine 11, fuel injection amount (m) of unit hour obtained from atmospheric temperature To, vehicle speed (v) and cooling water temperature detected by sensors 1-3 and output of a fuel amount control device 12 is put in an operation device 4. Here, based on respective data, voltage V to be applied to a motor 6 driving a cooling fan 7 is calculated according to a predetermined formula. And the voltage V is compared with two set voltages V1 (approx. 1V), V2 (approx. -0.5V) and when V>=V1, the calculated voltage V is applied to the motor 6. And when V2<V<V1, the motor 6 is kept in the present condition, and when V<=V2, even if the voltage V is obtained, electric supply to the motor 6 is interrupted and the cooling fan is stopped. |
