Mechanical watering of farm fields - using rotary sprinkler system with rotating arm transported along centre line of field

The mechanical watering of farm fields is achieved by transporting a rotary sprinkler system with a rotating spray arm on a centre line of the field at a spacing from the field longitudinal edge corresponding to the thrower radius. The sprinkling on one of the field transverse edges with a sprinkler set to semi-Circle sprinkling is limited to sprinkling of a semi-circle in the transport direction. After passing through a section corresponding to the thrower radius it is automatically changed over to full circle sprinkling. After running on the centre line, before reaching the other field transverse edge, at a distance from this corresponding to the thrower radius, it is automatically re-set to half circle sprinkling for sprinkling the semi-circle opposite to the transport direction.
