This new development relates to a folding ladder, for which application has accordingly already been made under patent no. P 3333293.2. This ladder is additionally equipped with a slide rail for an absolutely reliable fall safety device. The fall safety device itself works on the basis of the magnetic brake effect and, even after many trials, exhibits no damage arising from use.
