PURPOSE:To obtain output voltage safely and stably by isolating a driving section and a power generating section for piezoelectric ceramic transformer while holding a dielectric. CONSTITUTION:A driving section 11 and a generating section 12 are fixed to the upper and lower sections of a ceramic dielectric 11. When AC input voltage 20 is applied to a power amplifier 17 for the driving section 11, the amplifier 17 is excited, and output excitation from the amplifier 17 is converted into the mechanical excitation of a ceramic substrate 11a through an electrode 14. When the substrate 11a is vibrated, voltage is generated between electrodes 15, 16, the voltage is fed back to the amplifier 17 through the electrode 16 for feedback, and the amplifier 17 is self-excited for oscillation. On the other hand, the substrate 11a is polarized in the directions shown in the arrow Y, and the substrate 11a is vibrated in the directions of the arrow X by a piezoelectric transverse effect when an AC electric field is applied in the Y directions by self-excited oscillation. The vibration is transmitted over a ceramic substrate 13 for the generating section 12 through a dielectric 10. Consequently, high voltage is generated between electrodes 18, 19. Accordingly, inputs and outputs are insulated to each other, thus resulting in safety, then safely acquiring a plurality of insulated outputs. |
