PURPOSE:The titled low toxic disinfectant, containing milk of lime and limewater, glutaraldehyde and a quaternary ammonium salt in a specific proportion as active constituents, and capable of preventing the growth of molds, sterilizing and disinfecting the molds and providing safe work, one day after the spraying and disinfection. CONSTITUTION:An unirritant disinfectant containing milk of lime and limewater, 0.03-0.1% glutaraldehyde, 0.01-0.1% quaternary ammonium salt, preferably benzalkonium chloride solution as active constituents. The actual example of recipe is as follows; 1g slaked lime, 0.05g glutaraldehyde, 0.1g benzalkonium chloride solution and water to give 100ml total amount. The above-mentioned disinfectant has very low toxicity to silkworm in spray disinfection and very low toxicity to users without corrosion of metal. |
