<p>The double wall pipe is used pref. for pressurised combustible, toxic and polluting gases or liquids. The space between two tubes is filled with pressurised, flame extinguishing gas. The nominal pressure of the extinguishing gas is higher than the max. internal pressure. Pressure reduction below a certain level caused by leakage is signalled to the control room. The leakage warning system (4) is connected on one end and the testing nozzle to the other end of the pipe to be monitored. Both provides a pressure connection to the control room (3). Several or all control rooms can be connected together and they may have common leakage warning system.</p> |
