Damping disc with an annular side plate; an input component arranged rigidly or immovably on the outer periphery of the side plate; a cylindrical hub which has toothing on the inner periphery and is connected via the latter to an output shaft, the inner periphery of the side plate being fixed, with the interposition of an annular interspace, all the way round the outer periphery of the hub; a radial flange which is formed on the hub and, like the side plate, is provided with openings; and a torsion spring which is arranged in the openings and connects the side plate and the flange elastically in the circumferential direction, the ends of the torsion spring in the torsion-free state each being supported against the edges of one of the openings in the flange and the side plate respectively, and an interspace being formed between the spring and the edges of the other openings in the flange and the side plate in the torsion-free state, such that, in the torsion-free state of the disc, a radial relative motion between the side plate and the hub is possible.
