In order to fasten counter-battens on heat-insulating panels, a counter-batten shoe comprising a U-shaped profiled portion is used. By means of a downwardly projecting protrusion, said shoe engages in recesses on the upper side of the heat-insulating panels without penetrating the insulating layer.
