In the grilling compartment (16) of the grilling device which can be heated by town gas, natural gas and liquid gas, there are mounted an upper heating device (2) which is adjustable upwards and downwards and two lower fixed heating devices (3) which can be switched independently of one another, a heating grid (5) being mounted directly at the upper end of the gas nozzles (4), as a result of which the gas flowing out produces a bed of flames. The upper heating device (2) serves for grilling and, at the same time, for heating the burner hood (16) as a plate warmer and for operating a raclette grill. The heating device (3) has two functions, it heats the support plate (8) and, due to its dual-function device, also gives off the heat downwards through the heating grid (5) and thus provides two further grilling points. The individually adjustable heating devices allow different meals to be prepared efficiently in a very narrow space, virtually without hindering one another. <IMAGE>
