摘要 <p>The graphic data is inscribed in the form of localised double refractions in a PLZT is otropic layer (2) covering a face of a first transparent electrode (20). On the other face of the electrode is a photoconducting layer (22) which is itself covered by a second electrode (24). The graphic data is inscribed by applying a continuous potential different delta V between the two electrodes whilst simultaneously exposing a part (28) of the photoconducting layer surface through the second electrode. The data is inscribed by localised double refractions which are induced by exploiting the transversal components of an electric field. The electric field (ET) is created by the combination of the local optical exposure and application of the potential difference delta V. After exposure the voltage supply (26) to the two electrodes is interrupted.</p>
