ROTATION DETECTOR FOR ROTARY VANE COMPRESSOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To protect a motor from damage by connecting an electrode fixed while insulating to front sideboard and arranged at the position corresponding with the rotor endface and vane slot through micro gap to rotation detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 10 is fixed while insulating to the front sideboard and arranged at the position corresponding with the endface of rotor 2 and vane slot 3 through microgap to be connected to a rotation detector. A pulse wave is formed from a rolling stock engine 25 through shaper circuit 26 and fed together with a waveform produced through rotation of compressor to a comparator 27. Upon occurrence of abnormality in the compressor to cause exceeding of both waveform or the difference of rotation over setting level, a relay 28 will function to interrupt additional current of electromagnetic coil 11 thus to stop the compressor. Since abnormal load is not applied into the engine, slippage of belt is prevented to enable driving of auxiliary engine resulting in assuring of safety of the operation of rolling stock.
