<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a pen for coordinate input device which gives no soil to the surface of a tablet plate by controlling the ink blow-out when necessary and then controlling the propriety for a pen writing action. CONSTITUTION:For a pen for coordinate input device, an ink container 102 is provided at the upper end of a hard pipe 101 which is filled by the ink supplied through a soft pipe 103. A vibrator 104 is put into the container 102, and an ink jet 106 is blown out through a blow-out hole 105 by vibrations of the vibrator 104. Then a locus of the pen is drawn on a form 107. Thus the items in a menu area on the surface of a tablet plate are displayed for selection of the type of a desired curve. Then this curve is actually supplied on a drawing area. In case a straight line is drawn for input, an item ''straight line'' is indicated in the menu area by the pen. Then a straight line is drawn in the drawing area. In this case, the ink blow-out is stopped via a signal line 108 when the item ''straight line'' is indicated.</p> |
