摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To convey catalyst particles without causing bogging in a conveying pipe, by partially combusting coke-attached catalyst particles by a deficient amt. of oxygen to reduce iron oxide in the catalyst and to regenerate it, mixing them with the catalyst having a specified temp., and recycling them. CONSTITUTION:Heavy residue oil 2 is introduced into a catalyst layer fluidized in a first step 1 to decompose it and convert it into a low density oil. Coke- attached catalyst is delivered to the second step 5 through a delivery pipe 4, and a gas 6, such as air, contg. oxygen deficient to perfectly combusting the coke is supplied to partially combust it and to reduce iron oxide contained in the catalyst. This reduced and regenerated catalyst is reacted with steam by the steam iron reaction to produce hydrogen, and a part of the coke-attached catalyst lowered in temp. to <=700 deg.C is mixed in a mixing device 7, and the catalyst lowered in temp. to <=800 deg.C is delivered to the next step through a delivery pipe 9 or recycled to the first step 1, thus permitting the delivery pipe to be prevented from blocking and stable operation to be carried out for a long time.</p>
