Oscillatory banding of thermoplastic materials

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for the bonding together of two similarly shaped articles made of dissimilar thermoplastic materials, utilizing oscillatory motion between the two articles combined with an external heat source to generate sufficient heat to form an hermetic seal therebetween.
