PURPOSE:To fix an azimuth at a constant value and to produce a magnetic head easily by adhering a block-like magnetic substance to a ceramic block to form a block coupled body and slicing the coupled body along a straight line having a required azimuth angle. CONSTITUTION:The block-like ceramics 1 is adhered to the block-like slender magnetic substance 2 to form the block coupled body 4. The coupled body 4 is sliced along a straight line 6 having an angle theta which is an azimuth to a straight line 5 rectangular to the longitidunal direction of the magnetic substance 2 to form head base core coupling pieces 7. A coil is wound around the coupling pieces 7 to form a magnetic head. Consequently, the azimuth to a recording medium can be fixed. Since a head base 8 and a core 9 are unitedly adhered, the magnetic head can be produced extremely easily. |
