PURPOSE:To prevent toner from flowing out with an air flow by providing an impeller which rotates in the opposite direction of a photosensitive body and forms an air flow from the outside to the inside of a housing in which toner is recovered at the lower part of the photosensitive side opening of the housing. CONSTITUTION:The impeller 6 is provided with plural, e.g. eight blades 6a molded out of resin such as polyethylene radially around a rotating shaft 6b which is rotated in the opposite direction of the photosensitive body 1 at a speed of, for example, 600rpm. An air flow from the outside to the inside of the housing 3 is formed in a thin gap 7 by the rotation of the impeller to prevent toner from leaking out of the gap between the photosensitive body 1 and housing 3. A guide plate 8 which is formed almost in a mountain shape is provided over the casing 3 to guide toner which is scraped by a cleaning blade 4 into the housing 3 and also guide toner which is pressed back from the thin gap 7 into the housing 3. Thus, the toner is prevented from leaking out. |
