PURPOSE:To prevent the accident caused by ink contamination generated by the adhesion of ink mist to a head cover, by providing a shield member to prevent the electric field by a deflection electrode from acting on the head cover. CONSTITUTION:A shield member 20 having a nickel plating layer is provided to a head cover 8 and the connection member of the plating layer connected to a lower deflection electrode 4 is provided to the upper surface of carrier 7. When the head cover 8 is hooked with the projection 23 of the carrier 7 by a hook 22, the shield member 20 is earthed through the connection member 21 and the electric field of an upper deflection electrode 5 is blocked by the shield member 20. |
