PURPOSE:To easily perform improving work of the ground by a method in which an inner tube with many holes in its body is driven into an outer tube with many holes, driven into the ground to be improved, and while applying DC voltage between the inner and outer tubes, a chemical grout is injected. CONSTITUTION:An outer tube 1 having many holes 2 in its body is driven into the ground 3 to be improved, and an inner tube having many holes 5 in its body is driven into the center of the tube 1. DC voltage is applied between the outer tube 1 of negative polarity and the inner tube 4 of positive polarity by a rectifier to generate an electric permeation phenomenon in the ground 3 between the outer and inner tubes 1 and 4. When a chemical grout is injected from the upper part of the inner tube 4 into the portion where the electrical permeation phenomenon occurs, the chemical grout goes out from the holes 5 of the inner tube 4 and permeates into the inner wall of the outer tube 1, where chemical reactions and ionic reactions take place to promote the solidification of the ground 3. |
