PURPOSE:To facilitate post-processing, by a method wherein upon an erroneous input, a predetermined key is depressed to thereby print a prescribed character or symbol and to correct an item counter. CONSTITUTION:The system comprises a display device 1, an input device 2, a central controller 3, a power source 4, a printer driver 5 and a printer 6. When numeral keys are depressed to input numerical values and operating keys are depressed for performing an arithmetic operation, the numerical values and operators thus inputted are printed out, and the item counter is incremented. When an erroneous numerical value is inputted, the predetermined key is next depressed, whereby the prescribed character or symbol is printed, the item counter is decremented by one, and the result of operation is corrected. Accordingly, the correct result of operation is obtained, and the place of error can be identified at a glance. |
