PURPOSE:To reduce the influence due to lowering of cold air at the lower part of the heat collecting unit and to increase the heat collection efficiency by bending heat collecting fins alternately in a U-shape and an inverse U-shape, and imparting to the bent lines an inclination angle with respect to the centerline of fins. CONSTITUTION:At the time of no air flow, in the case of vertically installing a heat collector 4, upper peripheral air is converted to cold air by the endothermic operation of heat collecting fins 12. Since heat collecting fins 12 are bent alternately in a U-shape 13 and an inverse U-shape 14 so that an inclination angle alpha is formed, and the centerline 16 of heat collecting fins 12 and the bent line 15 are bent with an inclination angle alpha. Hence, cold air between the heat collecting fins 12 along the inclined surface flows down onto one side. By this draft, new air flows in from the other side whereby the influence due to cold air is reduced even at the lower part of the heat collector 4. Further, the inclined surface caused by the bending prevents the solar beam from passing through a clearance between the heat collecting fins 12, and acts as the light receiving surface to enhance heat collection. |
