PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester container provided with a handle having a hollow part by one time biaxial orientation blow molding, by a method wherein the surface of a wall of a main part of a cavity of a mold is kept at the temperature lower than the glass point and a panel part of a tonguelike part is kept at the temperature higher than the glass point. CONSTITUTION:A heated an injection-molded bottomed polyethylene terephthalate parison is loaded into a mold 8, a press surface 14a of a trunk cavity and the inside 15a of a sleeve which are to be brought into contact with an intermediate wall part 17c are kept at the temperatures higher than the glass point of polyethylene terephthalate applicable after orientation and on the one hand, the inside of the other mold is kept at the temperature lower than the glass point. A molded material 17 is formed through biaxial orientation blow molding by fitting an orientation bar into the molded material with pressure after that. As trunk wall parts 17a, 17b other than the intermediate wall part 17c are quenched through the inside 10b of the trunk cavity and a press components 14 confronting with each other are made to break into the molded material 17 immediately when the temperatures of the trunk parts 17a, 17b become low, only the intermediate wall part 17c is deformed and a main part of a container an a handle on the circumference of a part which is to be a panel part 4 are demarcated. |
