PURPOSE:To enable optimum recording to be performed on recording media capable of being used for multicolor recording or having different recording characteristics, by providing a plurality of nozzle arrays and connecting different ink-containing parts respectively to the nozzle arrays. CONSTITUTION:A recording head part 11 is provided with two sets of nozzle arrays 13, 13', so that jointing nozzle liquid chamber plates 18, 18' to bases 14, 14' results in that nozzles 21, 21', orifices 22, 22' thereof and liquid chambers 23, 23' are formed. A partition wall 30 is provided in the ink container part 12 to form two ink-containing parts 31, 31', in which deformable ink bags 32, 32' are disposed, respectively. Accordingly, since each of the nozzle arrays can be driven independently, two inks 33, 33' can be ejected independently through the orifices 22, 22'. |
