PURPOSE:To reduce unpermitted private call and useless public call by managing in details the call from an extension telephone set to an external line individually. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone user makes a call to an external line while using any of telephone sets SUB1, SUB2..., SUBn, the own magnetic card is read by an accessory magnetic card reader at first. A central processor MTU of an electronic private branch of exchange EPBX discriminates the data read through a telephone set, that is, whether or not the possessor of the magnetic card is registered in the storage device MTU of the electronic private branch of exchange EPBX, and when registered, a signal representing public or private use is awaited and when this signal is inputted, ''0'' dialing is received and processed automatically, ''one of name and employer number'' is read from the magnetic card, ''public/private use'', ''call date'', ''calling extension number'', and '' connected external telephone number'' are stored in the storage device MTU, and ''call time'' and ''talking charge'' are added to the said recordings at the end of talking. If an unregistered person desires to make a call or ''0'' dialing is executed without depressing a push button of public/private use, the state is connected and processed to an announcement machine ANT. |
