<p>After having filled a mould with molten metal at a casting post, the mould is raised to a positioning post. Simultaneously, an empty mould is raised from a collection position in order to bring it to the casting post. After having located a retention mechanism on the mould, the latter is filled with molten metal injected upwards, under pressure, into the mould and a mould obturator is closed in order to prevent the molten metal exiting when the injection pressure is let off.
