<p>A housing (8) encloses an incandescent lamp (9) with an axial filament, a reflector (1), an adjustable diaphragm (13) directly eliminating a portion of the light beam. A sliding objective (15) has a lens (16) at its opening. The internal surface of the reflector is stippled to ensure diffusion of the light. - The diaphragm may be inserted, through a slot in the wall of the housing, between the lamp bulb and the moving objective. Thus various illuminated patterns may be formed by use of different diaphragms, each having cut-outs suited to the desired lighting pattern.</p> |
