PURPOSE:To estimate the working time quickly and accurately by providing an estimating function of the working time to a numerical controller itself. CONSTITUTION:A numerical controller consists of a shift distance calculation means ART1, an executing necessary time calculation means ART2 and a parameter setting memory MEM, etc. The calculation and display of the working time are carried out when the switch information designating a working time calculation mode is set in the relevant mode. Then the numerical control is inhibited to a machine system by a switch means SW. Thus a working program is decoded by a block decoding means BCD and delivered to the means ART1, etc. When a block includes an external command, an executing necessary time deciding means ART3 reads the necessary executing time corresponding to said external command out of the memory MEM and delivers it to an integration means CNT. The means CNT integrates the executing necessary times of both means ART2 and 3 over the entire working and displays them to a display device DPY. |
