PURPOSE:To decrease the number of input/output terminals for data on an IC by connecting the 1st IC and plural 2nd ICs in a single round via serial buses and setting an address in an initialization mode of the circuit for transfer of serial data. CONSTITUTION:A primary LSI1 and secondary LSI2 and 3 are connected in a single round via serial buses (a), (b) and (c). An SCLK terminal 1c of the LSI1 is connected to an SCLK terminal 2c of the LSI2 and an SCLK terminal 3c of the LSI3 respectively. The addresses of both LSI2 and 3 are set to the LSI1 in a circuit initialization mode via those serial buses. Then these addresses are sent to the buses (a)-(c) according to a prescribed synchronizing signal. Then serial data are transferred between the LSI1 and LSI2 and 3 via buses (a)-(c) respectively. |
