<p>The apparatus serves to provide the range (R) of a point on a uniform rectilinear trajectory (r0) of an aircraft in space from an observer (A), and comprises means for calculating the angle (???) in the flight plane starting from an initial elevation measurement (???o) and from the values of the angle of elevation ( epsilon ) and training angle ( beta ). It also comprises calculation means which receive the data relative to the angle (???) in the flight plane, and the velocity (v) and provide the flight variables: <IMAGE> from which it is possible to obtain the actual range and the crossing range (RT), and the resolution of the velocity along any three reference axes; and further comprises a group of computers arranged to filter the required data. <IMAGE></p> |
