PURPOSE:To confirm accurately and easily the operating result of a main body part and to improve the operability of a bidirectonal remote control system, by using a bidirectional transmission line for connection between the main body part and a remote controller. CONSTITUTION:A remote control part 10 is connected to a main body part 20 by a bidirectional transmission line 30 after separating both parts from each other. The part 10 includes a key matrix 101 for operations, a data display part 100, a serial/parallel converter 104, a modulator 105, a demodulator 108 and a microcmputer 109. While the part 20 also has the 108 and a microcomputer 109. While the part 20 also has the same constitution as the part 10 in addition to an audio equipment such as a CD layer 206, etc., a speaker 216, etc. Then the matrix 101 is operated at the side of the part 10 to convert data into output codes and then into optical signals. These optical signals are transmitted to the part 10. The part 10 receives those optical signals and then converts and demodulates the for decision of codes. Then the part 20 performs operations according to the decided codes. The results of these operations are sent to the part 10 and displayed at a display device. |
