The insulating glass windwo with noise and heat insulation for old buildings has a window frame (2, 4), an outer (8) and an inner (10) pane in the frame as well as an intermediate pane (12) arranged in the intermediate space between the panes. The outer pane of the insulating glass window projects with its circumferential edge (14) beyond the other two panes and is supported with the circumferential edge on a shoulder (16) of the window frame. The arrangement consisting of the panes (8, 10, 12) is held by an outer and an inner fastening strip. Arranged between the individual panes are spacers (18, 20). Furthermore, sealing layers (22) are provided between the spacers and the panes and at least one further sealing layer (24), which bridges the intermediate spaces between the panes, is provided on the circumference of the inner and of the central pane.
