PURPOSE:To avert the generation of white spots arising from the sticking of polyester fiber fluff to the surface of a stainless steel sheet in a liner consisting substantially of said fibers by forming the sheet of said fibers and incorporating a surface active agent therein. CONSTITUTION:The fibers consisting substantially of polyester are made into the sheet and the anionic and/or nonionic surface active agent is applied to the sheet to form the liner. The term ''substantially'' means 100% polyester fibers or that about 30% polyamide fibers, polyolefin fibers, etc. may be blended therewith within the range of not spoiling the above-mentioned purpose and effect. A spun bond method in which the fibers are immediately sheeted after spunning may be used in addition to a wet or dry process sheeting method using short fibers to manufacture the above-described sheet. This liner obviates the sticking of the polyester fiber fluff on the surface of the rolled stainless steel sheet when separated from said sheet. |
