Plastic sliding elements (22) are provided on metal skids (20) in two parallel aluminium C-rails (10). This results in the carriage (2) being guided in a manner which is free of maintenance, is resistant to corrosion and provides easy motion. The screw spindle (3) can be fixed by a locking bolt (4), so that inadvertent release is impossible despite the easy motion. <IMAGE>
