PURPOSE:To make flowability yet better as well as to prevent rainwater from penetrating into a car room with certainty, by forming a flow accelerating part consisting of a hydrophilic material solidly in a rainwater passage of a weather strip body. CONSTITUTION:A flange is projectingly installed in an inner edge of a body 1 of a trunk opening edge part, while a deflector lip 7 composed of EPDM sponge rubber is projectingly installed at the body flank side of a trim part 4 and pressed to the top of the body 1. And, a clearance between the body 1 and a lower surface of the deflector lip 7 comes to a water passage 11 in a weather strip, through which rainwater is discharged to the outside from a drain hole. A flow accelerating part 12 consisting of a hydrophilic material is projectingly formed as one body in a lower side face of a weather strip body 3 so as to extending along this water passage 11. The hydrophilic material forming this flow accelerating part 12 and the body 3 are vulcanized and stuck fast with each other by means of combined extrusion. |
