PURPOSE:To make lubricating oil feedable so sufficient enough even viscosity in this oil is high, by forming plural lines of grooves in an inner diametral part around an outer circumference of a drive shaft of an outboard motor and installing an air vent groove. CONSTITUTION:In case of an oil guide pipe 19 whose lower end inner circumferential part 19a and being externally fitted in a drive shaft 6, one line thread groove 30 and other one longitudinal groove 31 are formed in a small inner diametral part 19a, and this thread groove 30 is used for a pump feeding oil to the side of a bearing 20 from a lubricating oil sump 24, while the other longitudinal groove 31 is used for an air vent groove feeding air at the side of the lubricating oil sump 24 to the side of the bearing 20 so that since there is the air vent groove 31 being larger than the groove 30 for pump use, sufficient lubricating oil is feedable even in case of high viscosity. |
