The system contains a housing (1) on which a tube (2) with an electric discharger (3), a powder-metering device (4), a mixing device (5) as well as a feed drive (8) for relative displacement of the system with regard to a blank or vice versa are arranged. The feed drive (8) has a shield (11) which is held in a first position by a spring (13). The shield (11) is arranged on a shaft (12) at the outlet of the tube (2) and has an opening (16). The shaft (12) of the shield (11) is connected to an output shaft (10) of the drive (8) by an overrunning clutch (17). The invention can be used in mechanical engineering, aircraft and rocket construction and shipbuilding. A system is to be created whose feed drive responds only after actual coating in each position so that the quality of the coating is increased. <IMAGE>
