PURPOSE:To produce a three-dimensional figure body made of a metal having a shart pattern by coating a photosensitive resin on a plastic film, placing a negative film of a figure pattern thereon, exposing the resin to cure the figure part, washing away the resin in the unexposed part to manufacture a plastic mold and using such mold as a consumable pattern. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive resin 15 is coated on the plastic film 4 and further the negative film 3 on which the suitable figure is photographed is brought into tight contact with the surface thereof. UV rays, etc. are irradiated from a light source 6 on the resin from above the film 3 to expose the resin, thereby sensitizing and curing the figure part. The unsensitized and uncured resin is washed away and the plastic pattern consistng of the film 4 as base (a) and having the figure 15 consisting of the cured resin thereon is molded. Such pattern is put into a molding material such as molding sand and after the molding material is compacted, the plastic pattern is burned and a molten metal is cast into the cavity made thereafter. The metallic casting having the shart boundary (d) between the base part (a) and the figure part (b) is thus obtd. |
