PURPOSE:To increase a heat transfer area per unit volume in a heating unit, by providing a vessel which includes a space which connects the heating unit to a riser pipe and a downcomer pipe, and by providing a bulkhead, which forms a space which is neither to the riser pipe nor the downcomer pipe, in the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A heating medium 15, which is an operating fluid, absorbs heat in a heating unit 7, that is an evaporation part, and it rises up through a riser pipe 1, as its fluidizing direction is checked by a check valve 5. It is led into a cooling unit 6, that is a condenser part, and is cooled and radiates heat which has been absorbed in the heating unit 7, that is the evaporation part. The heating medium 15 radiates the absorbed heat in the cooling unit 6, that is the condenser part flowing through an upper connecting pipe 3 and a downcomer pipe 2. A flow of sealed heating medium 15 becomes a circulation flow as a whole, flowing in the direction as shown by an arrow sign. The liquid level of a heating medium 15 in the heating unit 7 is heightened by the presence of a hollow body 16, and the contacted area of the inside wall of a vessel as a heat receiving area with the heating medium 15 can be increased as well. |
