PURPOSE:To improve air excess prevention, by making an air supply passage, which is opened into a pressure tank, eccentric as to the axis of a water passage. CONSTITUTION:The air supply passage 20 of an air supply unit 16 is made eccentric by a length L as to the axis of a water passage 10. When enough air is supplied into a pressure tank 12 and the level of water at the time of starting becomes almost equal to that of the upper end opening 40 of the air supply passage 20 and the degree of opening of a faucet is low, a portion of pumped-up water flows into the pressure tank 12 and water gushes out of the water passage 10 and the level of central water rises. In that case, the level of peripheral water does not rise and compressed air in the pressure tank 12 is sucked into the air supply unit 16 through the air supply passage 20 because the passage 20 is eccentric as to the axis 44 of the passage 10. This results in effecting air excess prevention well. |
