PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction of electromagnetic contactor due to burning of coil by connecting in series the thermosensors having positive temperature characteristic to a coil wound to a boil bobbin and providing such elements to the position thermally coupled with the coil. CONSTITUTION:The end portion of coil 2 is soldered to contact metals 3 which are fixed one by one at the diagonal positions of upper collar 1b of coil bobbin 1. The lead 4b of thermosensor 4 which increases resistance value when temperature rises is soldered, the other lead 4c is engaged with the lower collar 1c, and a body 4a is closely provided to the one surface of coil 2 so that it thermally couples thereto. When an excessive current flows into a coil 2 and temperature of coil 2 rises, a positive characteristic thermistor 4 increases resistance value. Therefore, amount of current flowing into the coil 2 reduces and temperature drops and thereby burning of coil 2 can be prevented. |
