<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a pin type disk brake and to reduce the number of parts therefor, by arranging a pair of right and left guide pins for supporting calipers movably in the axial direction of a disk to serve also for supporting inner and outer pads. CONSTITUTION:Guide pins 4, 5 are threaded and secured, respectively, to top ends of a pair of right and left arms 2a of a support 2 extending from a body securing part. Almost the central part of the axial direction of the guide pins 4, 5 are formed threaded for the arms 2a; on their extended ends opposite to a disk 1 with caliper guides 4a, 5a, and on their other ends with pad guides 4b, 5b. Inner and outer pads 8, 9 are supported movably to the axial direction on said guides 4b, 5b by right and left arms 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b so that the torque to be generated at braking can be beared by the outer and inner pads independently supported by respective guide pins 4, 5.</p> |
